How to Check Tamil Nadu Class 12 Result 2024 on tnresults.nic.in

1. Go to the official TN Board website: tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in.

2. Look for the option labeled “TN HSC Result 2024” and click on it.

3. A login page for TN +2 Result 2024 will pop up.

4. Enter your registration number and your date of birth (make sure to enter it as dd/mm/yyyy).

5. Hit the submit button.

6. Voila! Your TN 12th Result 2024 will appear on the screen.

7. Don’t forget to take a printout of your TNDGE HSE (+2) Result 2024 for future reference.

Pass Percentage School-wise:

  • Government schools saw a commendable 91.32% pass rate.
  • Government-aided schools boasted a higher pass percentage of 95.49%.
  • Private schools maintained their reputation with a solid 96.7% pass rate.
  • Girls-only schools scored remarkably well, with a pass percentage of 96.39%.
  • Co-educational schools also performed admirably, with a pass rate of 94.7%.

Pass Percentage Subject-wise:

Major subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science, Commerce, and Accounting recorded high pass percentages, with Computer Science leading the pack at 99.80%.

Notably, the pass percentage of female students surpassed that of male students by 4.07 percentage points. This year, the overall pass percentage improved, reaching 94.56%, compared to 94.03% in the previous year.

In terms of participation, a staggering 7,60,606 candidates appeared for the Tamil Nadu Class 12 board exams in 2024. Among them, 4,08,440 were female candidates, 3,52,165 were male candidates, and one transgender candidate also took part in the examination.
